Michelle joined Corporate Investors following her graduation from UNC Chapel Hill in 2006. She began as a Loan Specialist assisting with origination and processing aspects of the loan, and after proving to be a quick study, she transitioned into her role as the sole Loan Processor on Robby’s team. Her dedication to getting the job done is evident and no doubt contributes strongly to the team’s consistent success. Michelle is a rock star and will work tirelessly to ensure that every loan closes on time and goes as smoothly as possible.
Nate Haines, Loan Officer, NMLS#512242
Nate started his career in banking after graduating from UNC in 2010. After several years of experience, he recognized that CIMG offers clients unmatched service and pricing, and he joined the Robby Oakes Team in 2015. Nate has navigated hundreds of clients through the home purchase and refinance process throughout his tenure in the mortgage industry. He uses his energy and expertise to navigate his clients through the ever-more competitive Triangle real estate market. Nate and his wife, Melissa, live in Chapel Hill and have one daughter, Adelaide. When he’s not sitting at his desk or on his phone, Nate enjoys running, reading obscenely long novel series, yard work, and pretending to have good taste in wine.
Alex Morris, Loan Officer Assistant
Alex joined the Robby Oakes Mortgage Team in 2015 as a Loan Officer Assistant. She is tasked with everything from coordinating with attorneys to insurance agents and works tirelessly to help Michelle, Nate and Robby make sure the pieces of every loan fall into place. Alex is a native of Durham and a graduate of Meredith College. When she’s not in the office, Alex enjoys shopping, helping cats find happy homes, and spending time with her friends and family.
Will Scroggs, Loan Officer, NMLS #1807923
Will is a born and bred Chapel Hill native. His parents, Karen Shelton and Willie Scroggs are both national championship winning college coaches at the University of North Carolina in field hockey and lacrosse. Will attended UNC where he played lacrosse and graduated in 2013 majoring in Management and Societies. He began his career in real estate development and financial analysis in the Raleigh-Durham market. After several years of experience, and after a smooth mortgage buying process himself, Will recognized that CIMG offers clients unmatched service and pricing, and he joined the Robby Oakes Team in 2019.
Will and his wife, Julia, live in Chapel Hill and had their first child in April 2019. When he’s not at his desk working or out in Chapel Hill, Will enjoys working out at OrangeTheory and F3, attending UNC sporting events (emphasis on lacrosse and field hockey), and spending time with his large, Chapel Hill family.
